When you create an account on Daisy's, we collect the following information:

• Account details: email address, username, display name, age, gender, place, and hobbies.
• Profile photo you upload.
• Study session data: focus duration, timestamps, and room participation.
• Avatar customization preferences.
• Device camera feed for face-presence detection (processed entirely on your device — never sent to our servers).

• To provide and personalize the study room experience.
• To track your focus progress and display analytics.
• To show your profile to other users (friends, leaderboard).
• To send notifications about friend requests and study sessions (if enabled).

Daisy's uses your device camera solely to detect whether you are present at your screen. This processing happens entirely in your browser. No video or images are transmitted to our servers or any third party.

Your data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure with row-level security. Profile photos are stored in encrypted cloud storage. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

We share your public profile information (username, display name, avatar, exam category) with other authenticated users for social features. We do not share data with advertisers or external analytics providers.

• You can update or delete your profile information at any time.
• You can request deletion of your account by contacting support.
• You can revoke camera permissions through your browser settings.

Daisy's is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
